Welcome to The Sheffield Society of Aeromodellers

Welcome to the web site of the Sheffield Society of Aeromodellers (SSA). We are a large group of aeromodellers mainly from the Sheffield UK area with many model flying interests - including slope soaring, indoor RC aircraft, electric power RC airplane, helicopters, control line and free flight including F1E Magnet.

The club has a number of slope soaring sites and electric flying fields in and around Sheffield. There are also fortnightly club meetings including model shows, swap meets / auctions, meals and demonstrations.

We produce and distribute "Gladys International", our bi-monthly news letter, posted to club members and onto the club's yahoo! forum as well. Articles and features are always eagerly welcomed.
